My story

A newborn's tiny hand wrapped around a finger. The laughter shared between generations. The first light spilling across a landscape. Some moments last only a heartbeat, but the photographs we create together can be treasured for a lifetime.

I'm Sue Martin, the photographer behind Blue Granart Photography. My journey began with a formal Diploma in Photography, which laid the technical foundation for what has become a 20-year passion for capturing genuine moments, meaningful connections, and the beauty found in everyday life. My goal is always the same: to tell your story with authenticity and heart.

My work has been recognised through photography awards, exhibitions and my role as a Sony Australia & New Zealand Advocate, where I had the privilege of mentoring photographers and sharing my love of the craft. While these experiences have been incredibly rewarding, the greatest honour is the trust my clients place in me.

I believe the most beautiful photographs aren't about perfect poses; they're about real emotion, quiet moments and the people and places that matter most. My hope is to create images you'll not only love today but will treasure for generations to come.
